Extras

A quick guide to gaining 40 nerve:

Do 50 2 nerve crimes.
Do 50 3 nerve crimes. (should get 15)
Do low 4 nerve crimes for about 100. (stay away from the ring)
Skip 6 nerve at all costs.
Work your way up to loan shark on the 5 nerve ones and stay there until you can do the second 7 nerve one. (That will get you well past 20 nerve.)
Stay with the second 7 nerve crime until you have a total of 5000 thefts. (you will know this when you get the 5000 thefts merit.)
You will now have a 30 nerve bar or maybe even a 35.
Do stealth virus for 1000.
Start warehouse arson. (Should get 40 nerve about 300-500 in)

There is your quick and easy route to 40 nerve.

•Busting: Busting is a very good form of gaining exp. The higher the level and time you bust the more exp you gain. If you get caught busting you do not lose exp. The higher your dex the better chance you have of succedding.

Crime FAQ

Q - Why does my nerve bar keep changing?

A - This is because you have just gained your new nerve, therefore the crime exp is very low on it. One red could mean you drop back to your old nerve. Try doing a few crimes you know you can pass before changing.

Q - Does a brown result make me lose crime experience?

A - No only red results make you lose exp.

Q - What is the max nerve bar I can gain without using merits?

A - 45 nerve bar is the highest natural nerve bar you can obtain.

Q - Does happiness effect my crime success?

A - Yes, stated and approved by Chedburn.

Q - Does my level effect my crime ability?

A - No crime exp, and level exp are two different things.

Q - There was a crime I tried and I almost robbed a gas can, is it possible?

A - No, you can only obtain a gas can by swapping for 100 points, or buying one from the auction house or item market.

still confuse with this. which one gives the most exp actually? stealth virusses, arson warehouse, or kidnapping mayor . i have 40nb right and 5 additional via merits. easily doing 3 mayor at once full nb
