The fact that people are buying flower sets to cheap. You get a lot more by just selling them on the market.

The expense of flying should be divided by the number of sets, not a per set expense. Also, rent a PI and flying is quicker and free. You are free to spend points on a bazaar (a $15million expense) and sell your self. But you will then have to deal with the fluctuating prices and have to wait until your items sell. selling sets is a quick and easy way for you to make lots of easy money with NO risk.

No. Well yes and no. Take away the flying. Its still 600k per set. And as for the market. When I grabbed the numbers i took off a few k. It sells real quick on the market when a flower worth 79k is selling for 70k. The fact that the flower sets as a whole are worth more. I dunno. Just does not seem smart to me.

Even IF people are running and doing things cheaper. I still can't get past the fact that they are worth more on the market.

The prices fluctuate greatly. The prices paid seperately just a few weeks ago totaled 490k on average. Since the value of flowers lies in the exchange for points, i doubt the total will stay above 600k for long. Also, as the price of TO or Peony rises, more people flood the market with TO and Peony... Driving prices down. So then everyone runs heather and Ciebo, flooding the market. And the cycle continues. With sets, I will always pay the same price. You will always know your expense and your profit. I will buy immediately, no price negotiation at all. You open a trade, I pay cash. If you want something risk free, quick and simple, sets may be what works for you. If you are willing to hold on to them to get the price you want, deal with finding buyers and the ever changing prices. Great. Sell them seperately. The great thing about Torn is that we can all play the game differently and still enjoy ourselves doing it. Good luck. Regardless of what you do, flowers are very profitable.

Yes you are missing something. This game is an economy.

Do you really think your shake at Dairy Queen costs 3 dollars to make? Think on that for a second, should help answer your question.

Flower multies need their money for their casino fix. When they are really desperate they sell their flowers for cheap. Only desperate people sell their stuff cheaply. If there are too many flower multies find another way of making money

No DQ dosnt but when demand is high so is the price. Some of the flowers up there are the highest I seen in months. Think of this. Does DQ sell more shakes during the summer? Does/can the price go up is demand is high? Its marketing. But someone already answerd this. The price is set because people trade the flowers for points then sell them. If you buy a set at 600k and sell points at 60k you make nothing. Just makes me wonder why people that are doing the running for sets dont just get the points and sell them. You would make a lot more.

You can only trade flowers in at the museum if you have the museum unlocked and not many people do so they can control the price.

The reason for this is you need the museum unlocked to convert the sets into points. It takes quite a while to unlock the museum, and if you need money quick, flower running is still a great way to do it while you work towards unlocking the museum.

The interesting variable comes in when probably 2/3 of runners don't know why people even want flower sets, so they keep running forever and ever thinking people are just nuts and really like flowers for some reason.

SOme people have so much tc play money they will buy all the cheapest flowers they can from bazaars so they can make points. They are drowning in tc play money they dont care how much they have to spend.
