Supposedly I still have the 10 free refills left and I pop an Erotic DVD to increase my happy.

My base happy is 3450 and it becomes 5950.

Now when I refill, it will refill my energy nerve and happy. So, does that mean that my happy will become 3450 again?

Yes it will reset to the maximum, so will become 3450 again.
