So I just did 2 of the tasks on www.tcbasic.com for networth by selling 4 flame throwers what gives? Also I have about 3,800 bricks and 800 lollipops but when I get 5,000 items I just dump them right? am I doing something wrong? I have 0 awards but am trying hard to follow the helpsite/cheatsite of TC Basic

First of all you need to train, stats are the most important in the game, use ecstacy and xanax early
1) Use Ecstasy until your stats are way better, then stack xanax later to train
2) Rent a better house before you train, the happy ads to training effectiveness, rent palace and do all upgrades
3) Use merits for life and critical hits to 7
4) Attack and leave above your level to power level up
5) Make some strong rich friends and join a great faction that will accept your level
6) Bricks are useless except as temporary weapons, Hegs and Trouts are better
7) Get flexible armour, macana and BT, arm only the macana to save ammo
8) Lollipops can be used to temporarily to increase happy, this is all
9) Bottles of beer can be used to increase crimes, arson warehouse and other 2 lowest level crime to rank up, not until much later when you are stronger use flamethrower selling to rank up until Outstanding level
10) There is a merit for trashing 5000 items, but at your level just train and level up

Thanks for the advice, not to be rude or anything but kind of missed my Question I already did some of the tasks like Networth, I see you have some but I don't why is that I should be at #2 right if its 10,000,000 with the $ symbol?
I want to thank you for the 7 tips though, makes sense now that I see what your saying I see that ive spent my money foolishly the rental money could of been used for a bigger house so I could of finished my Mission #9.

EDIT: My Rank went up for the $10,000,000 networth now it says Rank #3 Average but I believe I am missing 2 Honor Awards and/or Merits.

Actually constantly building your actual Networth (not your cash on hand) and Raising your Stats are the only real keys to this game if you want to be successful, be aware this takes years of work too

Where the hack you dumped it.
I can't see your net worth but i can see your item trashed (dumped), and why you want a award for 5k trashed while you don't even dumped one yet.
edit: for net worth it is a medals which means you wont get instantly. while item trash award is honor so you will get instantly.

just a small warning..
young low level players with donator status and multiple networth medal can look very attractive to muggers..
so either you should wait with the networth medals or make sure you have a safe place to keep your cash (if you have any)

From the original post i understand no items were dumped yet, they will be all at once when 5000 is reached.
Thats not really needed, you can dump them one at a time. Though since you dont get anything of it till 5000 you may as well wait too. Either is good.
Zurichtorn mentioned it already.
Medals, like the ones gotten for networth should be awarded at the new day tick. Though they may sometimes be a day late i think.
Anyway if you fulfilled requirements for two steps one day than you jump that much.
You should go check the awards page - it shows all the medals you have gotten. Also you may check there if the amount of merits is consistent with amount of awards.

medals get rewarded shortly after midnight tc-time.. so if you do the requrements at 00:05 it'll take 24 hrs before you get them..
and btw: torn is at gmt 0 (there is a clock on the bottom of the sidebar)

Wait for newday, you will get your medal shortly after.
BTW, your rank actually does increase instantaneously. You can see this via your profile page, your rank will increase as soon as you reach the requirement even if new day hasn't came yet. It just requires the new day award cron to give you your medal.
