So really you don't even have to be online to rank a company up?
I have been watching a sports team for 3 weeks go from 1* to 4* in at least 24 days. In these whole 24 days the director has not been online at all.

Company is over 500 days old you sure its only ranked up since they been offline

seen this a few times before, while I was ranking sports teams I noticed inactive ones gaining stars too while I struggled at 1 star.

The direcor is not working there I guess.. he / she has money to give salary... and workiers work..
If workers work gud then company will rise.. even director's druggy level doesn;t affect company doesnt it?

Age is a factor, like player ranks companies have 'triggers' too.
Clearly they'd already hit the other required triggers in the past and just needed the age trigger to rank up.
Due to the disproportion between sports team ranks you need to take ALL of the time it takes for 1-4 stars at once, once you've done that you'll go up from 2-4 one day after the next. Then a bit of wait again for 4-5 as it's more balanced at this point.
