If you buy a block of stocks from someone else that is receiving benefits from it, does the timer still reset or do the benefits continue even after transferring from player to player?

There is no "timer" for stock benefits. They pay out at random times, so your chances of getting a benefit are always constant, regardless of whether the previous owner got benefits from the block.

Hmm so you mean once someone buys a stock large enough to receive benefits, they can start receiving benefits randomly after that? There's no waiting time until it's eligible? I haven't done stocks in a while, so I'm out of the loop on this, but before it would take anywhere from a couple weeks to two months before a stock would start giving benefits, depending on the stock. That system is now gone?
