I just sold 2 shares of stock and got cashiers checks (I'm guessing that's what they are for, since I'm in the hospital right now). And I know that the new auction pays in cashiers checks. Does anyone know what else deals with cashiers checks?

I kind of like the idea of hiding money from muggers in the form of cashiers checks for up to 24 hrs.

Thanks, I was curious if winning the lottery and slots would be in that list. But that will never effect me.

No need for the lottery to be in the cashier check system you get bodyguards for a week and i doubt slots would work in this system

Id think the checks would removed the bodyguards.

It would be actually less protection since only the winnings would be safe, nothing more, and only for 24 hours.

But thats speculation.
