Hello

I what to know if you change from a education job to a player owned company, do you lose the job position in education when you wish to join back?

I think you keep your rank ..
You also keep your Job points in Torncity jobs (army etc) but not in a player owned company. - so if I'm wrong you can save up some points and when you come back, use those to advance quickly.

When you join a company the job points stay in the Torn run jobs/companys.
