As far I know- crime experience also give leveling experience..
so my ques is- if someone failed a crime which makes a hugh loss of exp(e.g- hacking crime) then will the [Upgrade] button dissappear ??

It shouldn't though it would be a curious thing to test. I'm thinking it shouldn't though as 1 hacking red is like 200-300 arson warehouse crimes to rebuild from the damage done by it.
Edit: Experience is given as a result of a successful crime not necessarily because of the increase of crime experience.
In plain English I mean you get both experience and crime experience for completely a crime.
Generally, in text based games the amount of experience you get (not crime experience)is based on the amount of money you get from the crime, however I'm not sure if torn follows the general trend.

No, crime experience and level experience are 2 total different things.
You can gain and lose crime exp (go up or down with 5 nerve at certain points).
But you can never lose level experience.

Upgradation, still not a word.
you got upgrade, upgrading, and then up/down being antonyms, gives you downgrade, downgrading.
if anything, your original word should be degradation.
just don't mix things when there's already a word for it, opposite of up is down, not deup. like the opposite of fast is slow, not defast. but I know having a different mother tongue can confuse the whole thing, not really trying to put you down, just found it funny.

Sadly cant give Chagu credit for creating the word. Pretty sure there already was a deupgrade here recently.
Unless they are just changing something in the matrix right about now.

A lot of people spam the hacking crime which is bad for crime xp. I have never seen anyone say they have lost levels because of it so its safe to assume we can never lose levels.
