Is there a chart or guide somewhere to how effective each armour is?

What is the best one you can get for say...under 50m?

EDIT:

So going by that... There is no difference between flexible armour and liquid armour?

Why the price difference?

1 shares in ISTC have been sold for $364. You can withdraw your check from the bank, or wait for it to be credited to your account in 24 hours.

I remember a couple of weeks ago someone was saying it has something to do with rounding. For example one if 66 rounded up to 70 and one is 74 rounded down to 70. Don't know if this is true or just a theory though.

I remember reading something a long time ago about different armours protecting different parts of your body better/worse. I was wondering if someone had info on that really, as the wiki isn't very clear and there's nothing on tcbasic? I find it hard to believe Liquid and Flexible are exactly the same with the clear price difference

they cost less than 50mil together so buy them both, test them out and let us know, maybe?

One theory is that flex armor help with crits. Another is that flex armor is a speed booster. Those are just untested rumors.

I would be happy to test... But I don't think I'd be able to. You don't hit for the same every time, two hits in the hand can bring up different numbers, I'm fairly sure.

If you suggested a way to test it, I'd do the boring work- I just don't know how to do it.

True and false, hand hits and all other body hits depend on the location of the strike. There are 2 or 3 parts of the arm/leg/chest/whatever that can be hit in each attack that results in a different damage multiplier.

Say if you use a pillow and hit the head dead on, the damage may be 5000, however if your next hit lands on their head in a different location like say the side, you'll do 3500 damage. If you hit the side again, 3500 damage, the side again, 3500 damage, and dead in the center, you'll do 5000 damage.

There is a "rhyme and reason" for all the damages done while attacking, it's just important to look to see what exactly you hit, and surprisingly torn gives you the tool to do just that. The little picture for both players on the attack screen shows exactly where you hit every time you take a shot at someone and also shows what they hit in return.

Source: My own experience. Critical hits: 3,801 (13.6%) and 100/100 with Pillow.

Ched has stated that the graphs are just a rough guide and not precise.

As for the idea that different armor has different benefits... you're assuming there was way more thought involved in the current battle system then necessary.
