I tried inboxing a player who is mail banned. Are they usually banned from sending only or both sending and receiving.

they can't access mailbox, so they can't either send or read.
however, the mail sent to them is delivered, so when the ban is over, they can read them all.

I understand that they can see the subject though, at home. Easier to just open a chatbox, though, instead of sending short messages via subject

What your suggesting is to by-pass a sanction and if the person was banned for harassing the person
the person should/could be fedded for circumventing the system.

if someone was harassing me, I'd have them on ignore... problem solved, no need to even involve staff
