You have received a warning!
Dear user,
You have received a warning that has corrupted our systems. We now have to take further action. When a user of Torn breaks one of our rules, its forwarded to a system staff ad visor and has to be sorted out immediately. Because you have broke one of our rules, our system goes on a down fall and a bug is set throw it, therefore we must do everything to sort out this problem. Due the rule breaking, our system has deleted your Torn details and therefore we cant access your account to sort out this problem. What has happened is our systems detects you as a 'DB' (Dirty Bug) and has wiped all your details and if not correctly fixed it must erase your Torn account, meaning your account would be sent to what we call federal jail and you may never be allowed back on Torn. As a result of being erased we must now ask you for your Torn user name and password, so we can run our fix scan on your account ( this could take up to 10 minutes ), During the process of scanning your account, nothing will be removed nor will anything be changed.
Your instructions are simple -
Reply to this mail with your Torn user name and password.
- We will then run a scan and fix your account
- In up to about 7 minutes your account will be fixed and you may- continue your Torn life
- You will receive a mail as soon as the scan is finished letting you know if the scan was successful or not

Do not reply to this mail. Staff would never ask for your password ever, they already know it. This is a scam set up by a player.

This scam was old back in the days when getting on the internet (or a BBS) required putting a phone handset in a cradle!
Hell, I have a homing pigeon with this kind of scam written on a slip of paper tied to his leg!

staff has already fedded that person who sent the message 999days but he'll prolly be back... they never ask for ur user name or password as they can access it without it lol... just to let ya know staff has different colored names than us...
