It is the same as the tv shows with the same name. It was/is run by Body and it held a group of players who had to do tasks to stay in the house. I took part in two different seasons and it was some of the most fun I have had in Torn. I got to meet and know a bunch of players I never would have with out doing it.

Sorry but that made me laugh....
Not sure if it even goes on anymore, I dont think Body plays much anymore. Im sure a thread would be created in fun & games if they started a new round and are looking for contestants

No its just a series of competitions but the entire thing is based around the show (vote eachother out, power of veto etc)

For the majority of Torn players, it is just a little circus sideshow for attention seekers.
They are given tasks to complete, and then often have to call on their friends to help them complete the task, and then people are slowly shuffled out of the house based on the results of their tasks.
For example they may have to collect something like Erotic Dvds, and the player with the least after a set time period is evicted from the house.
Those players that are not directly competing in the competition can watch it from the outside via comments and blog-esque style interactions, but have no real say in the competition besides being able to help out their favourite player(s).
I think with the introduction of regular competitions involving a larger portion of the player base (World war, Hallow Town, Zombies, Xmas Town, Dog Tags, etc...), things like the Big Brother house are more at home in the Fun and Games forum.
