Dude, in case you didn't notice, there's a "danasoft.com" URL written in the pic. I recommend you just go there and read: everything is explained all over their homepage! And it's exactly what some other people here tried to explain to you again and again and again!
You can even create your own sign with cool quotes like "Seriously, get out of internet and get a life", "CIA, God and me are watching when you masturbate!", "I eat trolls and retards for breakfast!", or "God bless America... because I won't!"
Now that you read my post, if you keep posting here without reading the Danasoft homepage, you would show to the forum community what kind of person you are... |

Is this site full of hackers? On a lot of profiles ive been seeing this thing holding a sign showing my ip and showing my web browser etc.. Please help i'm really scared, ive already changed my ip 3 times and it STILL shows up!! Help!! |

And to starter, its just an IP tracker's image, which is totally different when me and you look at it from various PC as we both have different IP, and anyone who has that image will never get any IP, or cannot hack/exploit with this image...Its just as a cool stuff in your profile, like the revolver maps, flash, hit counter etc..... |
this is not true. If I put an image on my own server, I can later check who requested it, and say get all kinds of torn users IPs.
A hacker could atempt something like this,
embed a counter on the profile, do 1 dollar sales, match bazaar sales timestamps with server log and tie IPs to a username.
After that create a torn related website of some sort, where people can register.
Many users will choose a different username on the shady site, but use same pasword thinking,
"Oh well they only know my pass but not my user from torn! haha"
What they wouldnt account for is that their IP is allready tied to a torn username.

Go to: iplogger.org and you will see banners maybe like the one you saw. If they used something like that then your IP is easily accessible.
Don't worry though, it's not like they can really do anything with it. (Except stuff like booting it but that's unlikely)

Your IP is everywhere bro, every site you visit tracks your IP and logs it. Images, and cookies, and for that matter 90% of the apps / widgets on websites all track your IP. The thing is, they can't do anything with it.
My suggestion is to stop watching Dateline or 60 Minutes and letting the moron hosts freak you out about your internet security. Hell, half the world still doesn't use an Antivirus, and they seem to be doing just fine.
