Update
The increased addiction from xanax overdose is x2.5
I intend to get some more updates in this year 
This one should be relatively accurate but take it with a pinch of salt, calculated comparing rehab costs of a single ordinary xanax with a single overdose, done straight after each other to prevent corruption of results from rehab decay.

Update for the guide, not the game It's nothing to do with overdose rates, it's to do with addiction.
When you overdose on xanax the addiction you gain is 2.5 times more than a normal xanax.

Does taking several types of drugs increase a lot more our drug addiction? I took LSDs with PCPs (and 1 Opium+1 Cannabis) and I calculated that my addiction should be at 65-70%, but I got kicked out of education. Any ideas? It's like my factions Hermetic 5 doesnt exists for me.
Edit: With randalus calculator I have 74.4% addicion.

I think that vicodin addiction rate is higher. As in my faction few members complained that they got kicked from edu even after taking just 10xanax and 12vico even with our hermetic 10. So vico addiction must be higher then 3.2%.

But sure there are some lucky (?) guys who get an od on cannabis in torn. It`s random. So again, very hard merit to get.
Tip: Take ONLY cannabis for a very very long time. Seems like the best option. Waiting for that OD to just come to you

the guide does not say anyting about that as far as I can see. The result is actually weird. Test it further, if you want!
Or maybe you just forgot a few drugs or didn't rehab completely?
the calculator only sums up the percentages the guide provides (and does not take into consiceration that you may lose some addicition in the course of time).
I would be glad if you could post how many drugs you actually took when you were kicked. I want to check back if the calculator maybe doesn't work properly on forein language machines (I coded it in german).
also I will provide an updated version of the calculator shortly that will take into consideration the update on xanax overdoses.
update online. The calculator now uses a multiplicator of 2.5 for xanax ODs and will only give out either a "yes" or a "now" for kicks after xanax ODs.

hm... I have just been kicked. After 11 xanax, I think. With hermetic 5 I should only have an addiction of around 92% after 11 xanax... Will test this again. Maybe I forgot one xanax somewhere on the road.
