Quite simple has to be pokémon, I had everything, gameboy games, little figures, cards, movies. They where so cool, it was just a relateable world that you could be fully immersed in.It was kind of how I got in to drawing because I would draw all of the pokémon and create my own. Pokémon rocks !!!

My favorite childhood toy was a stick. (I was a very blessed child with rooms full of bought things, but yes, a good stick was my favorite.) I loved its versatility. I could use it as a magic wand and pretend I was a fairy...I could use it as a sword and I was She-rah; as a microphone, I was Jem (and my loyal stuffed animals were my holograms lol); and my favorite was after rainy days, I could paint with it in the mud, channeling my inspiration from my favorite show to watch as a little kid...Bob Ross. . Also very useful to swish lightning bugs to paint the pavement glow in the dark style and as annoying little brother wackers.

Hungry Hippos is definitely my favorite childhood toy/game!
Hungry Hippos, the game of marble munching madness. This has to be my all time favorite childhood toy. I have such fond memories of playing this game with my brother as a child until the time came when we had outgrown it and it was then passed on to our younger cousins.
Hungry Hippos, from MB Games, is still available in many stores. It consists of a red square, plastic base with four colored hippos at each side. I remember the pink hippo was always my weapon of choice! Each hippo has a black lever on its rump which when depressed will open the hippos mouth. On the inner part of the base are white marbles and the aim of the game is to press the lever and try and gobble as many marbles as possible into your hippo's mouth. Once gobbled up the marbles will then sit in a little runway next to your hippo and you can easily see how many marbles you have gained.
This was my favorite game as a child and it was always guaranteed to make my parents tut as the gobbling action of the hippos made so much noise!
How I got it?
It was Christmas and as a seven or eight year old boy I believed in Santa Claus. I was sitting by the window, waiting for Santa to come. I helped my mom to do dinner so we could start Christmas Eve as soon as possible. Later on she came upstairs and the first words coming out of my mouth were about Santa Claus. She said, “I don’t know, I haven’t heard anything,” so we continued watching TV. Fifteen minutes later, she said she heard a closing door and steps coming from downstairs. My brother and raced to be first by the christmas tree. He won and pulled his present out from the pile of presents.
Finally, it was my turn. There was this gift box and inside it was Hungry Hungry Hippos!

Well it was a toss up between Hungry Hippos and Elefun the Elephant.Sine Petso already said Hungry Hippos I guess I'll go for Elefun the Elephant.
What is not to love about an elephant with a long truck blowing butterflies into the air while you rush around with a net trying to catch more than your siblings? It was good fun no matter how often you played it. And we probably would have carried on playing if somebody didn't break it and then lie about it not being them. I think it was recently re-released along with a whole line of new toys. Just goes to show what a timeless classic it was, and still is.

I loved a game with a few different names, pop and hop the one we called it....
Played by up to four players, each with four counters, the aim to move all four counters from start point to a home point round a board using a dice sealed into a dome thing that when pressed would make a pop sound.
I remember how frustrating just starting out was as a six was required to move a piece out of the start position... When moving round the board there could be times you would end your turn on the same point as an opponent this would result in the sending of that counter back to the start position. Causing much hilarity when not being done to you moments later.
Fond memories of me and my grandparents playing this and the stroppyness my grandfather would have when getting hopped on!

I once had a Genie in the Lamp (From Aladdin) stretch arm strong, but we accidently left him on the radiator and he melted... That was a big scar on my childhood haha. Seeing the horrific melted remains of a lovable cartoon character lol.

Yeah I remember them too! Not as good as pogs, if pogs had holes, I'd f**k them.
