Yes I think that employees should be affected of their inactivity more than company or director it is really unfair that if one player is not active it is the entire company that suffer the system should be review... in real life ppl dont work 7/7 and 365/365days also if there are 50emp and only one is inactive for one day the ratio of the way the comp is affected is also unfair.... Every Directors should support ME here

So we dont have the right to voice out if we are not happy? do torn staff really care about us and what we have to say?? i just hope not everyone in staff thinks as weebl....
Yeah choosing a day could be useful, so every week you would get lets say "2 points" these points would go towards a rest day which costs 1 point, so you could spend the point on a day you know your not going to be on at, so lets say i had a busy day on tuesday for example, i could select tuesday and this would be my rest day, which means it would not effect the companies efficiency and my efficiency in the company.
Not everybody can get online 7 days a week. As company directors we should have an option to be able to set members status`s as Vacation, Unnassigned is neither here nor there, unassign effects company profits so in a way unassign is like an additional job title......Having a vacation setting where inactive members did not effect the company would be a better option, they would not get paid but they also would not lose their days service either.
I know its a game but it is supposed to depict real life and having this issue with the companies then its not true to life. A company review would be good
What even something as simple as say if you're in a 5* company, you only get the full 5 job-points for job specials if your on everyday, and if your employee rating is 4*s you only get 4 job points etc.
SO basically divide the company rating by the employee rating and thats the amount of job points that particular employee gets in that day.
Same could be used for the pay, you receive based on your efficiency, so if you're getting paid $100,000 a day, and you're efficiency is 3* you'll get $60,000.
Vacation with notice to director way ahead of time, Also if employees work 7 days a week then like someone said they get paid vacation days accumulated with pay for off days/vacation if agreed with director and company and employee on vacation paid days should not suffer and should not be able to take vacation days etc till they get the 7 days active first and earn off/vacation days. For those who just plain don't sign in and say hell with company and don't care what or how it effects company, FIRE THEM, OUR faction directors have strict policies for inactivity first 7 days of employment auto firing, after 7 days 2 days inactive just before new business day firing and 0 pay after one day inactivity, if constant one day inactive with current system per week firing, also we dock for less then 5 stars in all companies. With new sysem if player says they can not get on one day week and knows it tell director so he can decide to put on off day, vaction or decide to ask them or just fire them if new system is developed.
Another idea is employee using job pts acumalated to use them for day off/vacation

Vacation is a cool idea.... On the flip side, in Real Life negative employees effect companies negatively, hence they are fired in Real Life, therefore if he or she is not producing for you, cut their pay or fire them!! I don't like the argument of trying to be like real life... Right now we can fire whoever we want, when we want, in real life you need a valid reason. If you're really trying to go somewhere with this, try to keep analogies of real life away from this, just talk about how they are not penalized for being a bad employee, yet one would could argue cutting pay and firing is penalty enough, though I liek the idea of earning less job points but what would you do for a 1 star company?
I agree with the op this would be a nice addition to companies. As its a pain to keep track everyday to see whos online or not.. Glad I finally ranked my sports team to 5 stars so I am not worried about it as much. But still would be nice so that it would benefit everyone.
this idea is good... i think there should be a setting where if they are offline for more than 24 hours they no longer effect the company and they no longer get job points.
so if you want to set a employee as on holidays then they get no job points while they are on leave. but they dont loose their job points and while on leave they dont get paid either. one trigger sets everything. no pay no points no effect on the company. like in the real world.

if I catch someone that's been sent a warning and gets to 1 star for 2 days in a row ( without excuse , like OD'ing ) i fire them
i better have low stats employees and grow their stats , i don't need a overfed employee who doesn't help my business
dont worry i do know there is a forum for suggestion and the reason why i posted here instead of there is that i am aiming to get the attention of directors not the other normal players call it employees if you want once i meet certain requirements or objectives i will just move it to suggestion threads..... thank you for you comment.... and pass the link to other directors thank you
