BAMF - Bad Ass Motha F****s, a well known HoF warring faction. (Now Evolution)
Banned - Blocked from Chat, Mail or Forums.
Baz - Bazaar, a place to buy/sell goods without trades.
BB - BodyBagger , well known player in torn. Owns WotW
BC - Bust Chain, a group of people that put 'BC' in front of their names.
BCT - Business Class Ticket, used to get to a destination instantly (well 2 minutes).
Ben/Benny - A stock benefit block.
BJ - Blackjack, a game in the casino.
BnR - Bump 'n' rate.
BOMS - Box of Medical Supplies, gained from the TCHS stock benefit.
Booster - A temporary stat booster. (See Epinephrine, Melatonin and Seratonin)
Bot - A code used in IRC channels for things such as chaining, giveaways and auctions.
Bounty- This is when a player puts an advert up in the newspaper for anyone to hosp someone, for money!
BS - A swear word, Bullsh*t BS - Battlestats.
Bulk - Item trading in high quantity.
Bump - Term used to move a thread back up to the top in hope of getting more views.
Bust - This is when one player breaks another player out of jail.
C4D - Cinema 4D Program
Can - Cannabis, a drug used which increases your nerve by 1 or 2 for a short period of time. Can - Energy can, there are many different ones which give varied amounts of energy. Will give you a cooldown period once consumed.
cd - 'Cooldown' period, this occurs after using a cooldown item such as a FHC, energy can, nerve bottle and happy booster item.
Cesium-137 - A component to make a Dirty Bomb, only found in the city or bought from other players.
Chaining - Chaining is when players in a faction attack other members in aggressive factions to gain respect. Was removed when the faction update came in mid 2010.
Chain Bot - This is a program used in IRC that helps a faction chain.
Chat - Where you chat to other players, using the 'tabs' found at the bottom right of your browser, available on Full Torn only.
Chloroform - Improves success rate for the Kidnapping crime.
Chedded - Term used when a chain is broken due to downtime. "Our chain was chedded earlier".
Also refers to an aspect of the game upon which has been altered or removed, usually disliked by most users.
CnC - Crude & Co. a stock in the stock market. CnC - Comments And Criticism, used in the Graphics forum.
Crons - Scripts automatically performed at times of the day to give you energy, nerve, take upkeep from your property, etc.
CT - Christmas Town, usually happens around 20th December lasts till 1st January.
Cut-Throat Razor - However it is still a popular tool with pickpockets who use it to open victim's pockets and cut bag straps unnoticed. Improves success rate for the Pickpocket crime.
DB - Dirty Bomb, destroys 10,000 - 15,000 respect of the faction that it is dropped on. Requires 100 cesium, a hazmat suit, and a faction with a lab. Many members of the targetted faction will be in hospital for radiation, as will a few other citizens. (see Neumune tablet for curing radiation).
DC - Display Cabinet, purchased at the Points Building for 100 points.
Def - Defence, one of the 4 battle stats.
Default - Refers to the 'default' sidebar.
Dex - Dexterity, one of the 4 battle stats.
Display - Display Cabinet, this is something that allows users to show off the items they possess.
DP - Donator Pack, which gives you 31 days of donatar status and 50 points when used.
Duals - Either Dual Axes, Dual Hammers, Dual Scimitars or Dual Samurai Swords.
Duct Tape - Improves success rate for the Bombing crime.
DVD - Refers to Erotic DVD, gained from the PRN benefit. When used it provides 1000 happiness boost.

Hold/holding - This when someone attacks another player, gets the opponent to 0 hp. At the 3 button page (hospitalize, mug or leave) this is the point where you are holding another player. Becareful not to hold too long, as the attack will time-out after 5 minutes of holding!
Hosp/Hosped - Hospitalize(d), when you attack someone and put them in for hospital the longest.
HP - Health points
HT - Well known HoF faction, short for Hattrick, originally for Norwegian players only. HT - Also known as Halloween Town, happens every year at halloween (31st October). Usually lasts for 7 days.
ID - Someone's identification number, can be found in peoples' profiles. e.g. YiD 423015
IGM - In game message (Torn message)
IRC - Internet Relay Chat, used to chat with other players as well as chain bots.
IRL - In Real Life, (yah, Torn isn't real life btw )

JJ - JimmyJames , a well known and respected player, owner of HoF faction BAMF.
PT - PorTugal, a well known warring family. Originally Portuguese members only. Main faction of family are PT-FAMILY PT - Peace Treaty, sometimes agreed between aggressive faction using the trade function.
Pwned - This is when a player is easily beaten in a fight with another player. (Same as Owned).

RAOV - Random Acts of Violence, a well established faction in Torn. Merged with BAMF in early 2012 to form Evolution (see Evolution for more info).
Rate - To 'thumbs up' someone's thread.
Rehab - Located in Geneva, Switzerland. Place to remove drug addictiveness (not completely though), costs $250,000 for each rehab 'session'. Also restores happy to full.
Refill - Term used when using 25 points to refill your energy bar, this is done in the Points House in the North Side of the City.
Revive - This can only be performed by Brain Surgeons, this removes someone from hospital completely.
RR - Russian Roulette, where two players duel it out for an amount of cash which each player brings in. A Revolver and a mission has to be completed to play RR.

Scammer - Someone who tricks other players into giving them money, or changing number of digits of money in a trade.
Screwdriver- With corrosion resistant, high grade chrome plated steel bars, the chance of tip breakage while shoving it in to a car ignition is extremely low. Improves success rate for the Grand Theft Auto crime.
SE - Stat enhancer, depending on which one it is it gives you +1% of a particular battle stat.
Self-busting - Term used when a player breaks themselves out of jail at the cost of half their nerve, dexterity is gained from a successful self bust (+0.0005%)
Serotonin - Temporary stat booster, significantly increases defence and replenishes 'some' life. Requires bachelor of biology to take this item.
SFAK - Small first aid kit. Medical item that takes 20 minutes off hospital time.
Sig - Signature, which is a image for someone's profile or forum information.
Skims - Term used to refer to shares that have been shaved off from a benefit. For example if the benefit requires a 100m investment and your shares of that stock are worth 120m, you can shave off a 20m skim.
Slim Crowbar - It can pop windows and doors with the minimum of effort. Improves success rate for the Larceny crime.
SS - Sports Sneakers, when in your inventory gives a 5% boost to speed gains at the gym.
Slutting - This is when someone purposely attacks and loses to someone for the other player to get and merits.
Stat cap - A point where your stats don't get exponential gains.
Stat Whore - This is term used to someone who trains only one stat, as the gains are exponential (when you have more of a stat you gain more when you train it).
Sticky - A thread which is pinned to the top of a forum area.
Str - Strength, one of the 4 battle stats.

in my opinion you should add things like tbh....
i know it isnt closely related to torn dictionary....but for people who isnt come around from country who speak English fluently, this kind of abbreviation something led me to confusion....even though google will always have the answer....
