";;;+Worth less respect";;;
";;;-Worth a fair amount of respect";;;
";;;-Worth tons of respect in wars";;;

Not true. this was changed ages ago as far as I know. Every level should be worth the same gains now.
Correct me if I';;;m wrong. :;;;;P

Im pretty sure that the changing respect gains was removed the system also. Not 100%;;;; though.

I still see myself getting less respect from a ";;virgin";; hit on a low level / newer player in a chain compared to a similar hit on a higher level / older player.

Personally, I don';t really notice the difference. If any at all, I';m sure it';s very minuscule. Also as far as I know you also gain fractions so it';s tough it know exactly how much respect you gained from your hit. Let';s say you have 1,000.75 respect but it only displays the whole number of 1,000. And you attack and gain (;;for example);; 3.15 respect and now the total is 1,004. Seems like you';ve gained 4 when you';ve actually gained less than that. If I';m even making any sense :;;P

That';s my theory anyways. Doesn';t have to be correct

How is the difference between getting 5-6 respect from hitting a newbie at the pointy end of a 100-hit chain vs. getting 7-8 respect for hitting someone closer to my level / age is miniscule?

I do kinda suspect that rounding does have a part to play to some degree, but it doesn't explain away the consistent difference in the respect I get on my hits from low level / higher level players.

They said the same shit to me when I started. You will be a leveling target, blah blah. I have very competitive stats now. My advice is play how ever you want, dont let someone tell you how you should play

Yes, I tend to attack up and I notice a difference in respect gained compared to the times where I don't have proper targets and go for the weaklings.

I think before you can ask that question you first have to define what power leveling is. Is it attacking for experience once every few days, once each day, or even once every full E bar?

1-2 respect difference is miniscule to me anyways. Too easy to gain respect in this system. And personally I haven't noticed much of a difference but that's probably because I cba to check it out. You can maybe run a chain only hitting levels 40+ then run another hitting only people under lvl 40 and compare the totals gained. Do that a few times and see if it makes much of a difference. (;if you care enough to );

There is no point in power levelling if you dont have enough stats to compete even with lower level players.

For a new player just starting. It';s nice to get asap to level 15 so they can start doing flower runs and make money. And then take drugs to boost their stats?

As for the players after level 15 powerleveling it';s nice also in my opinion people saying that you become a powerlevel target is complete bullshit plenty of higher levels with low stats..

I can honestly say I';ve never speed levelled.

Can';t be bothered with all that, there';s no point in rushing a game like this, it';s a marathon, not a sprint.

I did level hold after seeing the [upgrade] thing once. Longest ten minutes of my life.

I level held for 6 months and then pressed all the upgrades.... so it was basically pointless....

And yes its a marathon not a sprint..... good analogy

Let's not forget that the job system used to give you more job points (;not companies); dependent upon your level, and that was the reason I chose to level at the time.

But that got removed/changed/"fixed" ages ago. So now I level normally because I am past a sensible holding level, and I like the extra life. Maybe one day, leveling will have another benefit.

Being at a higher level is seen as being better/bigger and it gives a lil boost and the feel good factor but to some it's a 'must have more' drug of the world we now live in....so many want everything NOW...just my opinion ;

I would recommend power leveling when you get to a certain amount of stats. The life can really help. I also don't know why people say about being used for exp a lot as their are already very good targets to hit for good exp. That are level 60+.

I like the extra health, but i don';t necessarily consider myself a power leveler. I have had a ton of attacks that ive won or lost because of 10k health. I leveled a little faster than normal earlier on because i was all str/spd, but ive evened up my def and im not to worried about leveling now after i hit 71 to rank. I think alot have powerleveled to hit 71 to rank also.

About 2-3 months ago when we were in warring period I used to take note of my respect earned per hit with respect to lvl. Whenever the chain reached 75 and above the respect gained per hit rose to maximum. I was getting 6-8repect for hitting players b/w 30-45 lvl as that time my lvl was 48. And I was getting 9 for 46-55 and 10 for 55-60 and 11 for 60+ and I didn't really had stats to try 70+ lvl but with trend it was going it may have been 12 per hit and for every player who was lower lvl then 30 I was gettin 3-5 respect. So there is really huge difference in respect gained per hit.

Power level to get more value out of a revive;

I don't think level has much importance for anything... unfortunately level on most any other game means something, so newbies come in and want to level because they don't know that in THIS game... it means nothing. Stats is where its at... PERIOD.

Hold, Power, normal... doesn't matter, as you pointed out. It's really how you want to play the game. If you like to surprise people and feel satisfied by that sweet moment when you read... XXX attacked you and lost! ... hold. If you like to see your level increasing and compete with friends ... thats kewl too.

You did miss some for and against though...

Lvl holding
-Less health can occasionally lose to those they'%;%;d otherwise win against with similar stats
-Never get level merits, potentially other merits. Removes the range of benefits merits bring
-EXP... Don't expect to gain the same EXP like if you level normally
-Costs less to Bounty you
-Generally get less respect from the community, unless you're and Epic holder.
+May get some defends from the bounty
+Underestimated (;%;%;often wastes enemies energy);%;%;
+Worth less respect
+Defensive statistics increase, Merits

Power leveling
+More hp, can beat lower lvls with similar stats
+Get level merits
+Get Missions
+Open Education
+Cost a lot to bounty
-Lower lvls that don'%;%;t power lvl will have better stats in less time and win anyways regardless of health.
-Easily spotted (;Via ID number (;Age); and level);
-Worth tons of respect in wars ----- Question this... the different used to be huge... now its 1-2 respect on AVG

Hyps

Is this where the signature goes?
