Those are the networth medals. There are rank triggers associated with networth so there are more merits available.

You are quite right, of course.

What I am bit at loss at, is understanding how the present situation is insufficient.
Not that I mind more freebies - but...

Nothin wrong with the present situation, i just feel that it could be a part of the game where they can expand on, not necessary more merits, but maybe unlock stuff, maybe better missions(;if there worked on in torn 2.0); or even maybe your happy is at a constant increase of 300 happy once u reach say 10bil networth, just little things can make it more worthwhile

Think a lot of people have jumped on the OP's ass for no reason.

Point is very valid but truthfully I don't think that there needs to be more rewards or anything.

But as far as "sufficient" goes, we cannot actually check our networth(;other than viewing our current networth medals);

I think that's one issues that'd be nice to address, but yeah its not gamebreaking and I wouldn't be too bothered if they added it or not.

R+ for OP btw.

I know people say that net worth is just buying items and selling them back to the system. Isn't most achievements on this game like that? Getting stats is more difficult of course and it's over a lot longer amount of time to gain 1bil total for example than selling loads of DP's to the system.

Someone could get 5bil net worth in a day but 1bil total would take ages. Getting stats is still about cash though. So if having cash for whatever you want to spend it on isn't an achievement then neither is stats. As if you can afford to use lots of FHC's, xanax, rehab then you are just trading cash for stats. Like people trade items for net worth. So I would say it is an achievement.

I think we should be able to see our total networth, nothing justifies why we are not allowed to see it, it's just like any other personal statistic in this game.

It wouldn't be hard to implement as the system obviously keeps a record of networth due to the rank triggers.

I guess it comes under the banner of being a surprise and I don't mind surprises, at least for the medals themselves anyway (;it gives the newbies a sense of accomplishment I guess);.

I do agree that for the rank triggers you essentially have to buy it'd be nice to know where you're at, but having said that it's not hard to push up to say 1 bil and count your way up from there (;ie. keep a rough track of what you sell back so you can work out how much further you have to go to reach the next trigger);.
