Yes this is another complaint topic about new players and yes im aware of the irony of given the fact i my self am new in comparison to lots. However unlike the people im moaning about i never asked for any help except the occasional piece of advice. Anyway, my gripe at the moment is this.
What is it with new players expecting to be given money rather than earning it?
I have seen a couple of new players asking for cash or what not and i made them all the same offer of buying bottles of beer at a huge profit to them. Out of 15 people only one person has actually taken me up on the offer.
One person, out of 15 were willing to take 25 seconds out of there busy lives to earn them self 45k-70k.
The others all pretty much said the thing which was basically 'that's nothing'
I suppose my discussion topic here is 'How has the attitude of new players changed over the years?'
> Mfw I read this
Being a fairly new player... from day 1 i've earned all my money the "LEGIT" way. Not once have I ever begged people for money...
Just saying... not all newbz expect money from the rich. Some, such as myself, would rather earn it the hard way.
there has always been beggers in Torn. players beg for cash, but that doesn't mean they'll get any.
the people under a year old that post here and brag about how they worked hard, played legit, an never asked for a handout have no clue how the old torn was. if anything, it's easier for players to make money now, then how it was.
Op, i think you are to young in this game to start raging at beggers right now. just take care of you in this game, and have fun. if it pisses you off that much that you had to file a complaint about it in our forums, then maybe you should just step away from the computer.
who cares? if they're not taking your money, then why complain?
I recall it was the same way back when I played in 2006, and it's probably always been that way. New players join and may feel intimidated or for some other reason(perhaps laziness) decide that begging for money will help them get to the level of others which is generally absurd; they don't realize that it just takes time and sometimes luck to get to where you want to be in the game.
