Wow, this thread really struck a chord with me. I'm a restart after having not played for over 2 years). I was quickly loosing interest in this game, mostly because none of my friends play this game anymore. Luckily I found a faction that fosters an incredible community. You were spot in calling it the most valuable aspect of this game. I have had the opportunity to be involved in several acts of cooperation and coordinator; simple activities with gratifying results. |

I have many friends in Torn who have been friends for a long long tialso so you know what me almost since i had just started. The one and only friend that i have talked to almost daily for almost 1000 days, (besides the 360 days i was in federal jail for a chargeback) is UcVanessa. She is the absolute best and i know a lot of you are friends with her and would agree 1000%. she was always there for me in game or even if i just wanted or needed to talk. There should be a lot more people like her out there and if you are new follow her by example and yiu will also become great. Luvss you Vanessa thanks for everything! |

WhatDaCrap. ID 3000-something. No longer plays :/ My first ( and really only ) faction leader.
He guided me from level 1 to level 30.
It seems I no longer NEED the help of another to achieve a goal I want to achieve... and I begin to wonder if I care.

Quacks, Dirty-Rockstar, Evil-Duck and everyone else who adds to the drama of Torn. It sure would have been boring around here without them to stir things up! |
Dirty rockstar was before my time, & ED'S act has gone pretty stale, But i agree.
Wallstreet has always been great for throwing fuel on a fire.(plus he's a pretty cool guy personally)
Also Madame Butterfly was great for stirring shit up. Like her or hate her,she knew how to hit a nerve, & often at times made a pretty strong point.
Krak freak & MDK for bountying me as nub for having the audacity to dare speak in a online forum  .
(can pwn both there asses easily now)
Ted Thomas for being the arrogant douche of non related who can NEVER be proven wrong. (but it is fun to rile him up & watch him pounce like a cat chasing a laser beam)

My faction is a main reason I kept playing, I was so much lower in lvl then all of them but they kept me and walked me through how to get better at this game. A special thanks to 2dogs, Dimebag, and Sally.

Kulde - He got me into HT last September which has changed my life here. He gave me 2 benefit blocks and allowed me to keep 1/2 of the income, out of his own will. Handed me 50m when I needed it and all in all a good friend.
HT-0 - Now leader of HT, leads me in the right direction. Gave me permissions in HT and I still have points to prove to the guy. Always around in IRC to have chat with, a great leader!
David002 - Got me into the community, great role model. Influenced me in making suggestions for the game - I have had 2 suggestions implemented into the game. Once again, in IRC a lot - someone I can always talk too.
