So Ched has said repeatedly that he will not make a mobile application for Torn.
Ched has also said repeatedly that he want's to hear more from the public.
I think it is best to just take a quick public poll on whether or not people of the Torn community would like a TC app.
I would like an app with push notifications to alert you when you have full energy/nerve, with the option to turn it off. This is because torn mobile doesn't seem any different apart from the homepage.
Also we should be able to choose the displayed links so that it doesn't load up jail, hospital, newspaper or any other links we don't need that slow down the loading time.

id like an app or mobile version, dont care, which is customized for mobile, so you dont need to zoom in and out like an idiot. at least use some media queries, adjust the layout in mobile a little. ofc notifications would be nice too.

Why pay for something you use on a mobile anyhow? I use IPhone and it works belting.

Yes - and the points market cap was a simple tweak.
This, however is not.
Given that the "we want an app" call tends to fall on deaf ears, perhaps you might get further if you work out which bits don't work or could be tweaked / simplified and suggest alternatives (I don't mean suggesting a completely new site either, just fixing the bits that don't work on phones).
If I were Ched (I'm not but assume it were so) then I would probably be more amenable to some subtle tweaks / page redirects to simpler pages for some features on the current mobile site (or when it detects a mobile phone connection) than I would be for completely redesigning a new website or developing an app(s) (which would by the way create another mouth or two to feed because the app(s) would need continual updating).
The push notifications would be nice but considering all the problems and lag lately I think they should direct their attention to quite a bit of other things first before spending time on this. Not to mention all the new updates that are to come. I would rather them spend time working on those which is already going to take a lot of time instead of something like this which isn't really needed.

Id like this but only if it had either a point cost or a dp type of system where I could buy it with ingame cash while someone else shells out the actual money.
that wouldnt work tho as it wouldnt be downloadable to device it would have to be done via an app market either google play apple or blackberry app market
I like the push notifications idea more then the app idea. I currently use opera mini on my phone and the game looks perfect on that browser. i've tried other browsers and the game seems to be way to small and just doesnt fit a phone but opera mini by far is the best mobile browser i believe for torn. the push notifications would be great since im a truck driver and on the road a lot.

Use your browser, there's plenty of things that need fixing without wasting time making an app. There's been so many polls on this I've lost count. It's not going to happen so accept it and move on
