i was in hospital, same reason as angry nuggets and i got out, the i spent 3 turns and ended up in hosp again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use the path, did you try that??? so far i only had 1 hosp so try that and see if you keep getting hosp, then if you do, well you can keep crying how hard it is to get free items

I really hope people realize that whole line of 'moaning in the forums' is sarcasm. By the looks of this thread, apparently it went over a couple of people's heads.
The best way to avoid being hosp'ed is sticking to the paths and looking at the map to avoid the npc that hosps you if you run into him.

well, i can say with hallow town and xmass town ive only been jail and hops 8 time totals, i keep to the path and keep checking the map every few steps, i dont keep walking in all direction, i check the map every 2-3 steps

R+ - I totally agree. Also, after the terrible lag experienced during H-Town, i am relieved to at least be able to do my 100 steps in 5 minutes and not 2 hours

I have to admit im happy they managed to avoid the lag that came with hallow town.
Someones learning on mistakes haha.
I dont think the hosp rates are less or more. Both towns seem to run similary. The start of x-mas town was so far similar to the first year of h town. The rates probably go up with the quest line - like they did after starting the second year of h town.
Still a while for me until that though.
Its fun. Plus its the price you pay for the finds.
Ps. love the humor of the hosps. Hope there are more stuff like that on the horizon. Texts not hosps mind you.

Actually, hosp aren't so bad ... sometimes its better to be hosped and go fast to 1,1 than wasting 30 steps, because you're on the opposite side of map.

I thought there wouldn't be so many hospitalisations when you keep walking on the road... not sure if I'm just being lucky, or if where you walk actually has an effect on hospitalisations.
Sorry for not moaning, I just don't feel like it, as we're actually receiving presents, maybe in exchange for a few sfaks, but the stuff gained really outweighs the loss.
I get some stuff for free, I won't complain about it.
Edit: someone already wrote about using the path, didn't notice that, as I only read through the first page.
You can't always be unlucky^^
