Why, oh why did I travel?

You cannot see the 'people' link abroad.

The log-outs are terrible, the lag is unbelievable.

What say you fellow Torn players.

Gone one further here....My SQL Fatal DB errors, having to log out and back in to clear THEM....plural....hope they clear it soon real shame but I think TC is about to die for a while!!!!!

I am also getting the message "you are not logged in", then when I try to log in, I am told "You cannot be logged in TC twice at the same time"

It is definitely struggling, for the past 3 days for me.

The new icon system seems to be the culprit to most of the lag issues. They have been moved to a different server and things are being looked at to see where the issue is coming from exactly.

Lag is bad - yep - I had a SQL error earlier today (luckily on a repeat crime)...

Personally - I think this problem is due to the server move and not the icons - but "hey" that's just my opinion.

I have worked on distributed systems for over 20 years - the user volume over the last month or so has not increased significantly , yet lag has "reared its ugly head"

Maybe server relocation - due to cost reduction (speculation again).

Anyway - I am sure that there are "real" people looking at this as we chat.

Not really any point in "moaning" about it.

Reading the thread (now above mine) you would think all is good after Ched messed with icons.

I can tell you all is NOT good in my TC world - is a bit faster yes, but I still mis-click due to lag damn it!

I just turned off icons widgets and the side bar crap and i'm still getting logged out and massive lag.
