Doggonit, thought I was onto something. I scanned the forum post and saw there are players that are wearing the Web of Perks honor that stated they never received an event. So I guess that eliminated those two honors.
By chance do you have 3 or more of the stock benefits that give dividends?

I know this was discussed earlier in this forum but, on Sat May 26, 2012 Ched announced the Starter jobs - Job point change warning. I also saw in other forums where he was in the job Law and By JimmyJames [581165]

I went through the Law job ranks up to Federal Judge for the Affronted Honor when it was released back in Mar 2011. Would I need to go back into Law to trigger the event?

I have not been in the Law job this year.
Other than what I've stated b4, the only other thing different about my account than the 3-4 months b4 Is the # of attacks I made due to the WW.
Could it be that you have to make over a set # of attacks per month to qualify?

if we take a step back and have a look at the definition of a class action lawsuit. from wikipedia:
| In law, a class action ... is a form of lawsuit in which a large group of people collectively bring a claim to court and/or in which a class of defendants is being sued. |
so it surely has to be something to do with the whole law side of things. that definition says it also involves a group of people, so, something to do with faction members or faction specials? it would be interesting to know if people get the events at the same time as one another.
just a little thing on the side, i achieved the top law job about 6 days ago, but quit 3 days ago, and i havent got this event.

Also, In RL, a class action suit can be used in mass TORT cases. In these actions, many plaintiffs, often hundreds or even thousands,have alleged injuries suffered as the result of the actions of a single defendant, usually the manufacturer of some product believed to have caused damage.
If we go with the RL scenario, getting hurt by a product could be meds or drugs. I dont use drugs so that would keep me from getting an event. Number of OD's?
Edit: Since Beerstein [1322136] stated he has never recieved an event I looked at his stats. His med, drug use and times OD'ed is close to Kens. I guess another of my theories is incorrect.

I get the events and haven't done any law educations. I also only have TMI and IOU and I don't see any reason for Ohadik to be lying on the IOU front (as much as everyone would like the trigger to be that simple) so I'm discounting that at my end.
I know people who have a ton of cash invested in the stock market as well who don't receive class action events so we can discount that idea even before someone puts it forward.

Wow... sad to think there is more unknown stuff like this. I have never heard of it and for sure never got it. I don't go to jail at all but I do crimes and train all day. My computer crimes is low... so maybe it has some thing to do with hacking.
*edit Maybe not... my computer crimes is higher then I thought. Murder and drug deals are very low though.

- Dont think I started law edu's after I received said events.
- Didnt have any business edu's done when events started.
- I do have 3 dividend stocks, but Id be surprised of that to be the trigger to be honest.
- Think I haven't been in the lawjob since "Sif Corp's" first oilrig came about in 2009 or something...

New Theory to check out
We can pretty much dismiss owning a certain stock BB, BUT, when we buy stock BBs we are also changing another thing on our account...Personal Perks.
When I bought my last BBs my Personal Perks went from 74 to 77.
My new theory is that you must have 75 or more Personal Perks to qualify for class action events.
I was over 75 (due to how I had spent merits)for a long time and was getting these events, I reset them and was under 75 and not getting events. Due to education and stock held I'm back over 75 Personal Perks and have only been so for a couple of weeks, which is when I started getting them again.
If you get the class action events please state how many Personal Perks you have.
