do you think there could be/should be more items that we can spend points on?
also i think it could help return points prices as the have droped recently

Refill energy bar: use it daily
Laptop: I'd just buy one and already have more than 1
Racing Licence: already have it
City Watch: already have it
Upgrade maximum loan: already at max
Display cabinet: already have it
Gas Can: I'd just buy one and already have more than 1
Bazaar: already have it
One merit: can't buy any new ones anymore.
So currently I spend it on 1 thing only, get a bit boring.
I'd like to see more things you can spend points on.

also i wouldnt mind seeing dogs back for lets say, 2k points you can unlock dogs again

I think the current options are fine tbh. That said it coul be interesting to see something a little different with points like special auctions where you bid in points (although that's a bit pointless really), or something else a little different to the current ways to 'spend' points.
I don't think DP status should be buyable with points, would muck with DP prices which finally seem to be semi-stable and tradeable DP's accommodate for people who don't want to pay irl anyway.

It'd be nice to see some more uses for points, partially because there are so many points in the system.
That being said, that suggestion above for reducing bank time is insanely broken.
(Maybe points could be used to extend the bank limit, like the loan shark currently does?)

What an idea... DPs for 100 points...
Increase luggage limit permanently by 5 for 500 points would be worth it Kyle i like that a lot! 10 for 100, 20 for 2000 maybe...
Auctions for points would be just the same as auctions are now but in blocks of 50k... Not sure if that would work.
I have no intention of buying city watch with points, I already use 25 a day for full E. Maybe we could be allowed to refill more than once a day, dependant on level, higher the level the more refills you could have. Up to level 10 then 1 refill, level 20 then 2 refills, it would make the level holders pull their fingers out and up to their actual level.
The educational reduction thing would be amazing. As for it being abused by the rich, who cares, that is the way the game is, get over it!

lol you are missing the point of what I said at the end of my post. The rich, older players are already unouchable. This would make it more important to level up, and not sit level holding

i see your point i didnt miss it but my point is still stands, btw im around 100% sure most new players want to hit lvl 15 then lvl hold for a while to not have crappy battle stats and be attack for xp

But this is all part of ched. Soon so many ppl will bring in flower, trading them for points, points market will be flooded with points(which we are already witnesses of). What will lead to more prices go down, making less money therefor stopping inflation. And everybody hoarding points for no other reason then one louzy refill a day
EDIt...brings me back to topic. Yes, we need more stuff to spend points on, otherwise flower running soon will have no point anymore

I know several people with 25k + in points. I myself was hoarding similar amounts. It is simply a bank these days, I provide the points to my faction, and when there was more members the demand was higher, but I have no other need for the points.
If they remove the banking cap or allowed concurrent accounts to be run then the points cash storage method wouldn't be required, which won't happen! (Who in real life has one bank account?)
I am assuming you are worried that your flower running business will soon not be worth travelling for?

I am happy using points to refill but if they could give me something more valuable for my stats maybe i would spend them on that otherwise they are valuable enough just for points refills in my opinion

lol at 25 Points per person in Torn with lower levels just buying them as they need them and the mega rich storing billions in points I am sure you will never need to worry if you can convert them, if you have not done history then maybe not.
EDIT allowing people to buy merits would be such a simple thing to do but it seems like that won't happen either for some reason!

The idea of nerve refill is good, though again should be limited to 1 a day.
How about
10 points - regen life back to max (can use unlimited times) Ideal to help in warring. No downside as nothing gained in terms of stats or money into Torn)
250 points - self-revive when in hospital.
1000 points - self-revive when hosped abroard

Swapping 100 points for dp status is dreaming
Nerve refills / another E refill for 200 points / additional carriage for item bought abroad - 500 points.

MmM of course its dreaming, but you cannot disagree it would be great to have things as they were!
This whole stigma about would it be fair on new players I find laughable, new players these days are pretty much spoonfed. I was reading another thread in here where a new player was aalready regularly using Xanax at a rate that I could only dream of when I started. The majority seem to jump into a PI before even being a day old, I am sure they could get over a few level dependant benefits.

i havent takeing a single thing from any1 i sold items and am where i am by myself
i see a few that are in PI because of the marraige and the majorty are reling on crimes alone as a soure of income
dont put all new players in the same boat!!
