Im not fond of the idea of a gym for non-drug users. I take a lot of drugs, but only ever vic. So not only do i lose stats by battling but lose access to the best gym to potentially make up the difference

Who's to say you just can't access it while on a drug effect?
No-one has even mentioned what the drug free means.
Realisticly how would a gym know you've taken drugs in the past? As long as you are clean now, you'll be allowed in!

SOOooooo......... How does this new gym counteract the effects of self busting? I don't see it. Unless you must have enough nerve to activate a new gym, self busters still have massive dex gain and can access the new gyms.
Might as well put self busting back into the game for all of the people who want to go that route.

Who's to say you just can't access it while on a drug effect?

I have a sneaky feeling that the effectiveness of the drug-free gym will depend on how many drugs you have taken...
i.e someone with 5 drugs taken will get better proportioned gains than someone with 300 drugs taken
Sort of thing. Y'know? 
EDIT - Actually, seems it won't be. "They'll only be able to unlock it if they have used almost zero xanax / extacy and will lose access to it if they do start using drugs."

I've trained 1 set in avg joe's & Global. Both gave me 1% gains on the exp bar. So, it doesn't seem the 1.6k lost per train is worth it considering the exp gain is the same.
I've done this twice now (20 E total) and get 1% per train atm. If someone has something different, please post.
Also, my stat I was training was def (which is maxxed out)--not sure if that matters

I just got 9% on the exp bar with 2 trains in the global gym (towards unlocking Woodys gym). This is with that stat just below the gain cap...

if you use xanax 3 times a day, you get double the energy of someone who is using no drugs... if they get slightly better gains so what? they have been at a disadvantage for 3/4 years now, they deserve a small incentive.

Thinking they are too cheap? Or too expensive? Not sure what you mean by "lame" here.

Are you stoned or stupid?
The dex gain was not nerfed, but the self busting was stopped.
The effect of dex was probably nerfed, but the point still is: How does the new gym counteract it like ched said it would when self busting was ended?

I work one of the most boring jobs in all of creation (I monitor a nearly empty computer lab and do IT related fixes when crap breaks. The joys of working while getting my second master's degree...At least it's pretty quiet)

This drug free gym is for people who have used almost no drugs at all.
That's what ched said and u might still be in the list if u didn't use xanax much.

The total cost of unlocking each gym in succession is: $5,514,386,654.
A person starting today, doing their utmost, aided greatly by generosity of elder players would be hard pressed to reach the final gym within years! Ched mentioned possible tweaks to the prices, may I suggest Massive changes, possibly costs reduced based on a days lived basis?

Unless cooldowns are removed and you are given an insane amount of cash (insane as in hundreds of trillions), you will never have a snowballs' chance in hell to catch up to the old players anyway. The lead of players that had cash and was active when there was no cooldown and made use of this, is so massive that nobody will ever be able to catch up with them.
The high-end gyms that cost a bundle will be accessible to rich players, who for the most part compete among themselves. It doesn't matter what gym they have access to, we can never beat them anyway. Instead, aim for making money and getting access to as good and expensive gyms as is possible for you, and compete with the players around your own age and level. It is impossible to start this game now and aim for the top when it comes to stats.

The amount to catch up to equal what we had is very cheap even if you start with new friends, beyond that is all a bonus. Besides it's pretty rare I run into a "new player" that doesn't somehow have more cash than me.
