this made me LOL ....i think aquaregia should give ched some lessons on actually putting some of this into play on torn instead of using scripts

still a little bit a of bullshit when it comes to scripts these all give players unfair advantages in the game i like the ideas personally but how are these any different to all the others?

Hm, so far I've only had people say their reds count as browns on crimes I haven't done myself. But the script successfully detects red warehouse arson results for me.

I guess I'll have to find an alternative way to tell the difference between the results...

Does this mean that the scipt will let you know if your going to get a red on an arson and not do the crime? Im all confussed

No, that's not possible.

When you've done a crime, the script "analyzes" the result page to fetch the type of crime, money you gained, green/red/brown etc.

The way it gets the green/red/brown works for most people, but not all, so I'll have to see if I can do it in another way.

Something strange is happening..... there are multiple tables for the crime history. Now for example, when I press shift + c at the home, it shows this table:

img718.imageshack.us/img718/661/clipboard01ssd.jpg

And browsing the forums, this table is shown:

Hey mate.

Just out of curiosity.. Where is all the data (crimes history, attack logs, etc) saved? The browsers have some sort of database ?

Congrats on the scripts.

Is it different for every page? Or just those two? Do they both get updated when you do a crime?

If possible, it uses localStorage, defined in HTML5. This is like cookies, but unlike cookies, they don't get sent to the server on every page (since this isn't necessary). Also:

Web Storage provides far greater storage capacity (5MB per domain in Mozilla Firefox,[6] Google Chrome, and Opera, 10MB per storage area in Internet Explorer[7]) compared to 4KB (around 1000 times less space) available to cookies.

If that's not possible (if you're using a very old browser), it will try to use similar functions in Greasemonkey.

In Google Chrome, you can see stuff that's stored by pressing ctrl+shift+j to bring up the console, then select "Resources" at the top, and then under "Local storage" select "www.torn.com". There you can see how the data is actually saved, the settings for the attack log organizer for example, looks like this:

{"autoSave":true,"confirmDeletion":true,"orderBy":"Time","order":"desc"}

It's kind of random, i guess. At the moment for example, only the second table is shown, no matter what page i'm on. And a few hours earlier, I could only see the first table. So far I could only notice these 2 tables. And when I do a crime, it only show up in one table.

So the question or the glove has been thrown.

Open Source scripts or not.

Enjoy yourself because you can't change anything anyway
