Vary much have been liking the new city watch 1000%; improvement
but im having a problem with city watch ever since the last update once in a wile a event will come up and be stuck up on my screen (;this normally happens when im afk from my computer and it goes into standby like 3-4 popups from backed up city watch events all at once witch would be fine but the last one gets stuck and makes me go to my task manager too close it);
when i click The X on the event it opens a window too the event instead of closing the popup and due to a slight lag between city watch and opening the browser it will open like 10 tabs if i clicked the x 10 times before i realize what is going on.
(;witch brings me to a small suggestion if possible it would be nice to have it only able to open 1 window/tab per event rather then if a small amount of lag/delay between opening browser happens and you end up clicking on the same event 3-4 times having a bunch of tabs open dont know anything about how city watch is programmed but the way i would program a event pop up to only work once per pop up would be something along the lines of.....
if popup-event(;clicked); & switch is(;on);open browser + set (;off);
if popup-event(;clicked); & switch is(;off); Close popup-event
that way the event can only be opened once and no system lag miss-clicks or attempts to click the x will make 10 tabs open
even with this slight issue i always keep city watch open now unlike the old version and if it dosn't get fixed i will still use it all the same vary usable and saves a lot of time during mailing people back and forth not having to refresh a bunch to see how your account is doing is vary nice
i read a fue other bugs about the watch and i think this one may be linked to the problem where people are getting logged out from being afk for so long but instead of just logging me out it freezes and leaves links up on my screen that i have trouble getting rid of needing to ctrl alt del out of them
info that might be useful for my situation
(;im on a laptop so when my computer goes into standby it goes into a laptops version of standby/sleep);
although i still think on top of that that if u click a link it should double as the close button so you don't accidentally click the same link 2-5 times thinking it didnt register if it lagged opening your browser
