Just after midnite every nite our faction chat window gets 3 messages. It has done this for months and at first it was just very funny, then it became a little irritating, but now it needs to be investigated and stopped. The messages come from Jinkali - but he resigned from the faction a number of days ago now and yet we still see the ghostly messages. Hopefully this print-screen will work.
If you are saying "Have I looked at every faction members screen at midnite?" then of course I haven't - that would be impossible of me. I can only go on what they tell me - and it was a bit of a joke to begin with. It can now effect our chaining experience. Yes,I have logged out - cleared cache and temp files and will report the next time it happens which will be tonite at midnite (unless of course it is magicallt fixed before then). If it helps I'm using Linux with CHROME. I'm convinced it is a server side issue now. I did think at one time that it was a chron issue on the faction members phone or his service provider - but now that he has left the faction - it points to TORN server issue. Not only do we get the regular 3 midnite messages but they are coming from a non-faction member.
I can confirm that I am getting this message. It's damn annoying. I know every other regular in faction chat gets the same message. I assumed it would go away after he left but it continues. The user isn't even online when it's sent.
I am in this faction also, I have seen this message as well. I use firefox, and have flopped over to chrome, and have it there as well, both used under Windows 7.
