I popped a vico, went to my warbase clicked a random target and then clicked my chosen weapon.
I immediately went to the next page, and the icon in the top left was Torn logo you get when attacking, however it said I wasn't logged in and it provided me with a link to log back in. I pressed the > Login button, to try to reenter my details to login again, but it sent me to another page, this time with the regular torn logo and stuff a message saying I wasn't logged in and the same link to log back in. I clicked the > Login button again, and it was as if it just refreshed the page. I repeated this several times and I still wasn't able to access the main login page for torn where you login.
I tried clearing my cache and restarting my browser, and I managed to login (it told me I was shot in the back when I logged in again cause I ran away from the fight so I lost 25e) but I had the same problem again whereby I went to the war base, tried to attack someone and it logged me out.
This sounds similar to what was happening to me about 2 - 3 months ago. I was logged out immediately after clicking Leave, Mug, or Hospitalize (well, the action completed and then I was logged out).
This started off printing exception details to the response page including all the personal details of my user row. Then print was suppressed, but the logout behavior continued until I escalated the issue. I believe something was corrupted in my user row an an exception was occurring during the row updated (probably updating respect gained, wins, streak, or finishing hit weapon type?).
I would recommend checking fields updated when a user clicks attack and see if an exception is getting thrown that invalidates the player's session.
