Hi everyone,
Please post any and all chat issues in this thread.
Fixes:
- If you are experiencing an issue where you appear as another user in chats, please take the following steps:
-- Log out of Torn and clear your cache. http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
-- Close your browser
-- Log back in to Torn
-- Post here that you have experienced this issue

Random Personal Chats of people I've never Chatted with ever (AND I don't Chat either cause I HATE BUGS in RL too) 
Faction, Global, Trade, and Company Chat Boxes appear or dissappear from bottom without chsnging any Chat Menu settings.

Same, I'm in faction ID 12905's chat under id 1608263 for some reason. I don't even use the chat, but it was open upon login.

It takes me multiple logins/logouts to actually restore my own chat. I have disabled everything but faction chat, but when I am chatting as someone else whichever chats they have open are displayed- be it personal chats, company, factions... There's been a couple of times where the person who I am chatting as is also chatting at the same time.

I logged on to find a chat conversation between a faction member and someone I dont know open on my screen. When I went to the chat control it had a list of people that I have never heard of. I clicked closed on them but I dont know who they are.
Sure would be embarrassing for the more "risque" members to have their chats put out in public like that.

I have another faction on my chat box, not the one I am in.
My posts are showing up as being sent from another players name.
I have a company chat box showing even though I work in the army.

regarding to the thread "wrong chat name appears + wrong faction job chats", i was LetMeOhh, then did the logout/login thing, thought it was fixed, but it wasn't!!! i was master 18. but i finally got it working. urgent please? (has happened 3 times previous i think.

This was writen in the faction chat, i almost never use it and when i logged on i saw that it was open and the chat looked like that. hope you can fix it soon, alot of people are experiencing this issue.

Yeah, i've gone through the log out cache clearing etc to get my own name to register, but logging in today got logged in to chat as _NI_Belvedere

I am getting Forged Through War's chat box on my screen, not in that faction, never have been, don't know anybody in that faction, have never had any contact with anyone in that faction to my knowledge

I've had been appearing in so many different factions, as so many different people...I can't remember them all, but it has happened to me more then 5 time's now! I always log out/in and clear cache and stuff...I've even tried using different browsers...It was entertaining at first, now it's kind of annoying!

i have lost all my chats and had them replaced with been16's chat options. i have access to his company chat and im not even in a company
Tried logging in and back out, closed my browser also. but the error has not gone
