ok... so i found a script from the quran in the city, then i put up in the trade chat that i am "selling Script from the Quran: Ubay Ibn Kab, 19mil. start trade."
but then it said that assassin123 posted the message there instead of me... and the weird thing is, he was las online 11 hours ago!!
tell me why his name shows up there instead of mine?
(edit) it happened again, but with a new name. - Saminagg. and one day inactive with no bazaar to speak of...

Yep, I can confirm this is doing it to me too. Although in my case, it shows Loki11 as posting. I just posted in the forums about it, didn't think to search first.

same here, logged in and had a faction chat box though I am not in a faction, and can converse with everyone in there. gave me the chat creds for 848038..
Along the same lines, I was adding some stuff to my bazaar, and my chat box popped up with "Scary_Reddot". This is the first time my chat has worked in more than a year.
I just had the same problem, in faction chat , i cleared all cache then relogged in, no chats where the cept faction, and not my faction i might add, under the name Sen.
Poor girl she wondered WTF was going on.
I cleared cache once again, relogged and back in my own faction chat/trade etc and chats are back up.
Disconcerting that was.
well my chat hasn't been working ever since the big server hack over a year ago. I just seen all the boxes finally pop up and did a test chat in Faction and its not me just like many others are saying. The weird thing is that my chat hasn't worked for so long now and when it finally works I am someone else lol. Hopefully this bug gets fixed and maybe even my normal chat will work.
Me also had this bug today. I changed my name, and relogged in (name and password is saved on my computer, so no chanse at all i wrote wrong) I was chatting with my factionmembers befor i relogged in. But when the chat showed, i was someone elses name AND FACTIONCHAT ? That was too wiered i thought, so i relogged in again. Then it all was ok. But this can be really messed up i think? I did not look at the profile, so i dont know if there was other issues?
This just happened to me , Was flying to SA , Logged out , Logged back in around 40minutes later with my username & password for my TC account & It was someone elses account? Their chat , their settings & Such.
The account was Greg_ or Greg- , Member of the faction 'Forged through war' , I got that much.
I didnt get the ID because both account (mine & his) were flying.
