For the past few days the people page wont load when im travelling
and the adv search page wont load shows a connection error. Not having any other issues with any other pages and if I refresh the page still doesnt work
No still doesnt work. I cant do an adv search page just does not load.
Same with people abroad.
I do not experience any lag it just comes up with connection error as if you are not connected to internet...which i have no connection issues.
This only happens with these two things and nothing else.
I do not belive its down to lag as its now been several days (since torn of the dead started)
And Never loads.
Just noticed this is also the same with faction war base won't show me the list of players.
It says Internet Explorer cannot display this page click here for diognosis....when i do says nothing can be found.
This is really fustrating me as i cannot attack people unless i know their username or id.
This is the second time that my gym page won't fully load...net result is I can't train...the first time was when I came back from a 3 week break and it lasted at least 24 hours.....this time just started today about an hour ago after coming back from rehab.
The part of the page that shows you what gyms you have access to is the part not loading....please don't ask me to send you a prt screen copy...if you can't figure out what I am talking about then were both Morons I suppose.
I have logged out, closed my browser. went to command prompt, ipconfig/flushdns. Reopened browser and cleared all history, cookies and cache then logged back on...I have noticed that the servers now change when going from page to page now...different then it was 4 weeks ago....I am on Wrath(6) right now, but when I go to the gym the server changes to despair(8).
Edit to note, no difference if I am using Chrome or FF browser. Also no chat boxes normally on the bottom of the page load on any page.
Just to update the situation...I logged onto Torn with my laptop using Windows 7 and have no issues with pages loading at all. But on my Home PC that uses the old windows X P there are many issues...all that I noted in my original post plus a lot more...can not get refills with points, neither Energy nor Nerve.
I know my solution is to just play on my laptop but what about others with Windows X P? Are they having similar issues?
Had to separate the X from the P or I got this ...lol But basically this sums up the experience of Torn for X P users....

This issue was/is caused by the lag (which is being caused by the icons).
This should be doing better now?
This issue with Windows X P is not caused by the lag...seems to be quite the opposite now...I prefer playing when chaining and busting on X P now even though a lot of pages don't load properly...the ones I need for busting and chaining do and there is virtually no lag as opposed to my laptop that has Windows 7.
I suppose the real problem is those that only have Windows X P can't play the game completely anymore.
I've changed the subject of this bug to be more accurate.
You should be able to play on . Do you have any malware/spyware protector software installed inside your OS? Any firewall? Try disabling this lot, this is far and away the most likely candidate for this problem.
What browser are you using? Try a different one, ideally Firefox and Chrome. Install Firebug if using Firefox or pop out developer tools / network panel in Chrome and see what isnt working.
