since i logged in this morning (14 hours back) all my chat boxes are gone, yesterday when i logged off they where still here.
And when i go to the chat short cut in the side bar it says:
Chat is not running, you can enable it!
then enable it is a clicky, but it doesnt bring me to another page or something..
i use google Chroom, deleted my history, set addons off, check DNS did probally everything...
Same problem, windows open nothing is updating and can't send any messages. But I have other people telling me it works fine, I have cleared everything on my PC and rebooted still not working for me
I can't enable chat, the clicky doesn't work. I noticed that I didn't have any of the chat tabs at the bottom of my screen when I logged in the first time a few hours back.
As of 8:27 PM Torn City Time 22/10/12 both I and others have not been able to chat on "Copany,Faction, Global or personal chat pages. "Chat With This Person" on Profile pages also is not working. Cleared Caches, Deleted Browing History, checked Time Snyc. NO joy.
Had the same issue, on page https://www.torn.com/managerooms.php the text "Chat is not running. You can enable it." contains a link to https://www.torn.com/managerooms.php which seems a bit odd when you're already there, this is why nothing happens when you click it I guess.
I have not had chat for a long time now. I have this issue across systems. It does not work on my iphone with Safari or my laptop. Running windows seven on pc, have most recent versions of chrome and downloaded and tried firefox. Neither have chat. I've cleared cache, temp files and cookies. I have checked for http/https issue, no https. When I click the chat button on the sidebar a manage rooms window comes up with join Irc, join teamspeak and the chat is not working enable chat button that does nothing. I have been trying to fix it but nothing is helping. My faction is going to war and they use the chat for chaining, so I'm worried about it and kinda need it to work.
I downloaded 'CityWatch' and the first time I clicked to open mail from the app on my laptop, all the chat functions disappeared. Not sure if it has anthing to do with it. I did log out and back in, and then tried closing and opening browser. Thank you
