I noticed a small issue with the Virus Coding time for a Stealth Virus. I have a Virus Coding Time decrease of 30% as a perk and the Stealth virus normally takes 100 days to complete however 30% off 100 would mean I have 70 days left to code the virus. The game says I have 72 days left.

As far as I know, there doesn't seem to be any extra modifier that I am aware of. It might only be two days but thought it might still be important.

I double checked that what I was seeing was correct by cancelling my creation of a Stealth virus and starting again and the issue is still present.

To Recreate:
1. Have 30% Virus Coding Time Perk
2. Have Personal Computer
3. Be able to program Stealth Viruses
4. Open PC and start coding stealth virus
5. See that it says 72 days (28%) not 70 days (30%)

It has never been 30% reduction (like simply counting up 10% + 20% from education).
Much like Life the life formula isn't simply 50% (10 x 5%):
virus coding is calculated like this: 100 days - 10% = 90 days - 20% = 72 days. Which is the correct length you have.

However on our home page we have:
Education: 30% Virus Coding Time

This is just 10% + 20%, should be 28% or in math: (1-(.8*.9))

Ah it's two dividers (with two company specials).

One is 10% and one is 20%. It takes away 20%... I.e. 20% of 100 is 80. Then takes away 10%. 10% of 80 is 72.

I'll group up these two in to one 30% modifier.

The fix seems to have worked as I just cancelled then went to create it again and it says 70 days to complete.

"You have started programming a stealth virus. It will take 70 days to complete. Once you have finished programming, you will receive the virus on disk in your items."
