While in Argentina any time I click on the buy button next to any item my browser freezes completely. The screen will not load, or even indicate it's trying to load. Internet explorer also changes to "Not Responding" state. I am not having any other issues with my computer, and everything else works until I attempt to buy an item. As soon as the browser closes if I bring a new browser window up the internet works just fine as well. If I need to move this to the lag report thread please let me know and I will do so.

Edit: I've tested almost every link in the window while here in Argentina:

1) Any of the buy links immediately freeze my browser.
2) Traveling back to Torn City immediately freezes my browser.
3) Laptop works fine.
4) People link works fine.
5) Attacking and viewing profiles both work fine.
6) I have not tested the log out function yet.

I have even tried to copy paste the direct url from the properties window for the buy link, but I'm guessing that the new lightbar system is preventing me from accessing the function in this manner. I have had trouble with certain things in the past while I'm at work, but nothing this major. For example I was never able to loan any items from my faction armory while at work. I'm not sure if this provides some insight into what could be causing my current issue.

Please try to clear your cache and cookies.
Then close your browser and login again
Hopefully this should work? Could you confirm?

I have cleared the cache and cookies twice, once each to test the buy function then the travel back function. Both times I experienced the same issue. Everything seems to be running a little better, but these two functions continue to freeze the browser window. When this happens I can click on any other window I have up at the time. I will run a speedtest to confirm my ISP and speed for you if this will help.

Hope this helps. Also note I am at work right now, so I always assumed it was an issue with the firewall. I'm not very familiar with how certain parts of this work, so I may be way off.

Edit: I also want to make it clear that when I arrive home I will most likely no longer be experiencing these problems. It's only while I'm at work, so I will no longer be able to test these issues after six am Central US time.

I'll leave this as info required so you can confirm if this is happening to you at home as well.

When I arrived home less than five minutes ago I was easily able to buy my usual 19 items and leave for Torn City. My thinking is that this has something to do with the lightbar interface and my at work ISP or computer. I'm not sure how to get around this issue especially since I'm not really supposed to be on Torn at work. I had no issues until this update was implemented. Does this essentially mean I should stay away from traveling while I'm at work?

BTW: here's the result for my at home speed test just in case.

I am assuming that it has to do with the settings on your workcomputer, or the browser. Which means its on your end and not Torn. You can try and alter your settings and see if that works.

Closing.
