Also having issues with chat. After sending a message the input boxs does not allow me to send another message unless I refresh the page on click on a new page. |
having this issue... also if i am typing a message and someone else types a message, the box goes grey and won't let me keep typing.

I am having the same issue, only a grey box on trade chat, so I cannot type at all. And the gray box appears on global chat after I send one message. The grey box goes away after I refresh, but reappears after sending another message

same here....can get it to work once after some refreshes and the usual cure for any bug clear dns blar blar blar and its back again.....

Stayed away from chat all day yesterday because of this. Figured it would be resolved by today but the issue is still there.
I can't trade, chat w/ faction, or nything.....on top of that i'm almost at my limit on being able to chat in NPC, and my last couple days of it i won't be able to because of this.
Really would like to see this resolved soon.

This makes the second whole day that it hasn't been addressed.
I can't get any answers as to when it'll b fixed either.

Since the massive lag and almost complete shut down of Torn last night/this morning I have had massive issues attempting to post in the chat boxes.
I can view all the chat and have made a couple of successful posts but most of the time I can't even type in the box let alone attempt to send a message.
I know of others with the same issues and will attempt to have them post here too...
I too have done everything the OP has done and as stated this issue only started after the massive TC lag/shut down of last night/this morning. |
I have the exact issue, only the part I should be typing in turns a gray colour. I have rebooted twice.
Cleared the cache, tried Google Chrome, no luck. I'm using FireFox

same, unable to type unless i refresh the page, and if someone talks while im typing it disables me to type and have to refresh page again to get chat to work
