I already had the global gym avaible, i finished all the light class gyms got the honourand all, and now it shows up in the bar the progress to unlck the Global gym again.
You were given Global Gym for free, therefore you need to unlock it.
There is a current bug report about getting the honor too when you haven't actually unlocked all gyms yet.
