The connection has timed out
The server at www.torn.com is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Do you have any addons which could be causing this problem?
What browser are you currently using?
Have you tried using another browser?
Have you tried clearing your cookies/flushing your DNS?
Have you tried restarting your router and modem in sequence?

^ PM sent
EDIT: OK traceroute is fine enough.
As you say you have cleared your cache/history/cookies etc.. and flushed your DNS I would suggest checking your hosts file ( clicky) to check for any unusual entries (can be modified by spyware/viruses). Since the traceroute is fine, it's not an actual connection problem, but seems to be a problem with your browser's themselves having trouble connecting to Torn, so I would think viruses/spyware/hijackers or somesuch.

^ his traceroute is fine, which means his computer has no problem establishing a connection to the site. The problem is with his web browsers, or most likely his OS, probably caused by a corruption somewhere, or perhaps a virus or spyware modifying the behaviour of his browsers.

Mr_stupa is a member of my faction, i have been talking with him about his problem...
He can access any site he wants using his own IP, but TC. I made sure the IP isnt banned at first and asked him to clear his cache, cookies etc
He cant access TC from any web browser and is forced to use a proxy to do so
Hence he came in here to post a bug report

I got exactly the same issue!
So annoying i can do hardly anything on my phone.
I have a 3G phone (Blackberry Curve 9300) and the gym or any page literally takes 5 - 10mins to load and when it does eventually load it comes up with a blank page!
