While playing the "World War" competition, a few times I have forgotten to look if the target is in another country. I clicked attack (twice today..oops!) and it says "your target has managed to escape". Usually it just says that I can't attack someone who's in another country. In this case (as I'd used vicodin), I lost 25 energy twice! I do realize it's my own rushing around that made this happen but it does seem like a bug.
Actually, now that I've made an attack on someone who IS in the country, they also managed to escape!
