Today I experienced something odd. All but to attacks that I made on people automatically sent me to a "Your target managed to escape" screen as soon as I pressed the attack button. It never gave me a chance even select a weapon. I'd go back to home and see that I lost 25e (was trying to chain). This continued a couple more times. I logged out, logged back in, tried to attack when it was my turn, and the same thing repeated. I refilled just in case that would make a difference. This whole time, everyone else participating in the chain didn't experience this. Their hits went fine. What is even more strange is that that even a player much lower level still managed to escape. Two times during this chain I was given the chance to select a weapon, I'd make the hit, and instantly it would go to a "you ran away..." screen without out allowing me further action to mug or hospitalize and it would deduct my 25e. In total, I wasted 10 of my 12 hits.
I've never experienced this in TC so I'm not sure if its a bug or not. It was a bit frustrating.
