I have stocks for sale more than 30 days.
Chedburn promised us that stock would be a safe investment, and that stock in general would be sold in 7 days, and that stocks would be added regualry on the marked when it was empty.
My stock has been on sale for over 3 weeks and hasn't sold.
Just like first poster HT-Supermikk. This isn't suppose to happen, and stocks should sell in 7 days.
This doesnt just apply yo FHC, Iv had other stocks not sell that were steadily going up so Ched's excuse is a crock of shit and only more proof he has no bloody clue what is going on in his own game
Also on a similar note FHC no longer seems to be giving coupons

Confirmed on that Oversized_Cock. Should we open another bug report? My PRN isn't giving me any benefits, almost 2 months now.
hmm, after re-reading the info from Chedburn and Clansy's post, I think the NPC is working exactly as it always has and as they have pointed out, there is no bug whatsoever.

Can you not read, or are you just naturally used to kissing Cheds ass? As I said before, I have other stocks that have been climbing steady and have been as high as 14% up, also not sold
i have read everything related to the matter, and basically what gets addressed in the reports is that what ched mentions in his announcement of stocks mostly sell in 7 days, even taking into account that this may not happen when stocks are doing poorly, many stocks doing well for an entire week are still not selling.
even if things are in working order, they refute cheds own words in the announcement.
Technically they don't, as he has also posted in GD and Clansy has in her sticky in GD. They way you interpret the posts however I think is different to the posts actual intention. But far be it from me to spell it out.
Ok leuky so how does it go from the npc occasionally buying stocks to not buying any stocks from anyone over the course of weeks and over a month in many cases not seem like a bug to you? Working as intended? Sure. You should work for microsoft, rich history of denial anything is working incorrectly there.

Seems a semantic issue... Ched clearly phrased the NPC in reference to the "stock" not the "stock market". If he meant "stock market" he never said it, though that is clearly what Clansy referenced in her Don't Miss The Memo thread.

I imagine the reason why it's not buying your FHC is because of the constant downwards trend over the past couple of weeks (which is unlucky), once the stock starts going back up again, the system will buy it back.

Stock Market NPC
There is no issue with the stock market NPC, the NPC will not by stocks if it (meaning the market in general, not the stock) is in a constant downwards trend.
But honestly, it's moot, because the initial thread in APRIL made no mention at all that the NPC was reliant on a positive stock OR market.
Back then I did a few small tests, things seemed to be bought back within a week to ten days, and so I made a decent investment of my cash into the market only to be informed months later that, woops, there are NPC conditions.
However unclear the mixed messages are at present, back when the NPC was put into commission there was no clarification of limitations and that's more what bugs me than what the current facts may be. I'm resigned to the fact I'll lose about 30% of my net worth just watching this sit there.
