Can you paste the event please? You probably took it close to .00, .15, .30 or .45. Those are the times that any excess energy is removed and your energy is set to the capacity of your energy bar (so 100 for you).

As a non donator your energy regenerates every 15 minutes. When your energy does regenerate any access energy is removed. As you took your xanax 4 seconds before the regeration time you did not have enough time to use it and so it was lost...
