I was doing a GTA yesterday when I clicked on the crime verification number it had taken my nerve from 33 to 28 and I did not fail the crime either.

A changed nervebar appears when you re-enter the crimes page. You must have failed other crimes before the successful GTA you did last.

A lag in updating your NB. You obviously failed crime/s or OC earlier that caused your NNB to drop. Since you said it dropped by 5, and this is an increment o a NNB (increase or decrease by 5) this is what it must have been.

Before this GTA that you did, did you fail any crimes or an OC?

I'm closing it because a dropping / rising nervebar at a later time then doing a crime is a normal thing.
