As usual The big money making companies include: Oil Rig > Tv Company > Cruise liner > Zoo.
Those 4 companies are only good for money. you might include some jobs for their specials (such as hacking another company)

the max ive managed to make with my cruise liner was $24mill. Bear in mind, my company is only 25/25. The top dogs are usually 30+ employees.

Umm, that of the 35 companies that Torn offers, these are the top ones and look at the daily profits form each. Do you need a syllabus? A map maybe?

Profits from the top 5 stars, and most are a joke.

Let me know if you need anything else, i'll be here all night.

Now that's debate-able. Although most are lower than the cost of half one xanax, that doesn't mean that they're deplorable returns. You have to consider that many of them are fairly cheap to start. Would you suggest a company that costs the player $50 million to start be able to earn even $1 million per day? I certainly don't think it should. Companies are extremely long term returns and daily income. You should not expect to make back your original investment for many years. Therefore a company that costs only $10 million to start should only make around ten to fifty thousand dollars each day. At that rate you can recoup that $10 million in less than one year.

And from looking at the low cost companies you would recoup losses MUCH faster at the rates listed.

Oh and the ONLY reason that this post even exists is because of the exorbitant amount that directors pay their employees. If you're not making the profits you'd like to as a director then stop paying people so much. If anything needs to change it's the amount of work stats required to work for certain companies. As is, a player can be ready to work in a top tier company in right around 1 year. Obviously that is because you need to have a relatively easy place to start from. Since "companies 2.0" are currently in the works I don't really see ANY of this as a problem.

Its not all about profits. A number of those companies have good specials. Some of those specials, like where you get free cans, provide income. Other companies provide stats. However, the fact is, only about a dozen of the 35 different types of companies provide any real value.

It is my understanding that when the company update comes out (some time later this decade), one of the goals was to make the other types of companies more useful. Of course, logic would follow that if the other types become more useful, it will make the current popular companies comparatively less useful.

Considering you can attach a dollar amount to stats via maths I would also consider that profit. Pretty much anything you do in this game costs money on some level, so I think all company specials are included in the broad definition of profits.

Yes you do fail, not my issue.

On topic, this is just a thread of the top 35 companies earnings in Torn. Nothing more nothing less.

" Hundred million* for the top guys..." as you can see from the facts, the top guys ain't the gen public. Just sayin...
