When I try to meg som threads, I get the message 'denied', could anyone explain why.

I think, though not certain, that you get a certain amount of down votes that you can use. To get more, you must make some up votes (or possibly wait a certain amount of time). This is so that some people do not troll the forums only giving down votes. Someone else might have more info on this, as all the info I have is second hand and might not be entirely accurate.
