as i regained consciousness, i find myself on my back, with pixie standing above me. she reaches out to me, as if to help me up. i remember my mother telling me to always reject the first offer, so i told him i would get up myself. she didnt look very happy, but let me get up. when i was standing upright, i put my hand out to shake her hand, as a typical kindly gesture. she gave me a stare, and booted me right in the scrotum. *WHACK* i fell to me knees clenching my balls. finally, she says "get up on your own now, asshole" and walks off with a smirk on her face, and a quiet chuckle.

Ho Ho Ho its Christmas Time,
Hamster comes out to play,
He travels far and wide,
To giveaway his loot.
He logs on to IRC, To find a suitable channel,
He looks around for miles and miles,
Until he sees freebies.
Hamster runs as fast as he can,
To come into freebies,
But as he goes through the door,
A transformation happens,
And Hamster is now Santa Claus.

Hamster Story
Walking around Torn City wondering what to do, hen in the corner of my eye I catch a glimpse of a Hamster in red boots. I follow him all around the city near an far and then he jumps onto the next page onto IRC no less.
Scared to fall I make the leap to keep following that little hamster, he brings me straight to freebies where I see lots of great giveaways going on.
I wait nervously to see what I can win, then my name is called...
Am I dreaming...
I just won some dumbbells!!!

Watching Trade chat when suddenly I see an add from Hamster telling me there is a Skateboard lotto in #freebies, I rush down there as quick as I can to enter the lotto. I run and run, but alas I missed the lotto, just as I am about to leave I see another lotto begin for dumbbells.
I think to myself and I am puzzled, how one Hamster can have so much cash. I go to the forums to see if I can find anything out there and I see its that time of year, when the Hamster Giveaway comes to Torn City.
I get some food and I sit down and watch, entering awesome lottos and have a chat with all the lovely staff and community in #freebies. At the end of the giveaway I thank Hamster and leave. I can't wait to see whats in store next year.

Freebies Creation Story
It was a cold Winters Evening and Karty was sitting at his laptop watching the chat on IRC, and thinking how much fun it would be to make his own IRC channel. He thought and though, but couldn't come up with a name, until an idea suddenly came to him. Everything given away in a channel are freebies. So that will be the name of my very only channel, #Freebies.
He created the channel and then looked around for a staff team to help him run his channel, he found Trish, Alex, Bl0ndie and Pixie too. Together they hunted for more staff to help with there channel. Weeks they searched this fearless five until one night Bl0ndie found Hamster and put him on the team.
Hamster helped tremendously to get the channel going, with his huge giveaways and annual Hamster Giveaway. As the months went by more and more people came to #freebies and staff were recruited.
This is the tale of how #Freebies came to be the biggest channel on IRC.

Another Hamster Giveaway has come and gone,
What a wonderful time we've all had,
Thank you freebies staff,
For this wonderful time of year.
Hamster is hibernating for now,
But he will be back another day,
The transformation is complete,
As hamster goes from Santa back to Hamster.

just another Torn day- I knew I survived
there once was a man named Richard Gere
who preferred to shove hamsters in his rear
he likened its the fight
in the middle of the night
to Kirk on his final frontier
1)Crime system:
two new "not so hidden" bars [you can get an approximate idea of them through various ways]
a)crime confidence bar, (x/100) [It multiplies to your crime success rate, so a confidence of 50 would mean crime success rate is 50% of the original.
It is gained by successful crimes/busts , slightly reduced by brown results,failed busts and escape attempts and greatly reduced by red results, can go to 150 maximum.[either way you will lose 1 per day just like faction respect]
b)wanted bar , this increases with green results and reduces drastically with red results, more the wanted bar, more the jail time you get if you get caught and also increases chances of getting caught , although not by much.
If your wanted bar is very high, you will be arrested randomly depending on your stealth ability, even overseas[and deported to TC jail][either way u lose 1 per day]
Red results would actually give you crime experience but reduce crime confidence.
2)Attacking system
If you mug someone , you can steal some ammo from them
With extremely high battle and working stats,relative to the person you beat, there is a chance you can steal their weapons/armor [only 1 item per mug though]
3)Bust experience and 4)jail escape experience
Just like crime experience with confidence and wanted bars
5) Tutor system
Anyone who has achieved the highest rank in education job, finished bachelor of general sciences and bachelor of x stream and all courses in the given stream(including post graduate courses such as dual weapon course)[where x is the stream the course you want to be tutored for belongs] can tutor you to reduce the education time.
Example :
If you want to be tutored for anatomy , your tutor must be a biology graduate [here x is biology]
You can attend a maximum of 2 tutor sessions per day , each session reduces education time by 1 hour
The student loses 25 energy and 200 happy per tutor session, while the tutor loses 10 energy and 100 happy
Both must not be under drug after effect or too addicted to drugs.
You cannot visit the gym , travel, race, take drugs , do crimes during the 1 hour session
If either one of you get jailed or hospitalized the session is cancelled.
6) Post graduate courses.
After finishing bachelor in the given stream you can attend advanced courses at the university , some requiring research [kinda like a mission] .
These courses will be long and expensive [hundreds of thousands to millions] and reduce your happy drastically.
Example:
1)Drugs 101
Requires biology graduate and 10,000 intelligence and 1,000 endurance
Cost : 100 energy and $10,000,000
Duration: 3 months
Rewards:
1)+10% increased effectiveness of rehab
2)-10% decreased drug addiction gain
3)-10% reduced drug after effects time
4)+10% drug effects[like xanax gives 275 energy]
7) Staff does job
Cook(s) gives you better food giving you x extra energy everyday and y% passive boost to stats and z% boost to life.
Guards have a chance of blocking incoming attacks on you[they already seem to reduce stealth]
8) Research new stuff
You can create new weapons,drugs , boosters, enhancers etc by having the required knowledge, raw materials , qualification and license[if you don't have license it becomes classified as a relevant crime]
It will cost energy , happy and maybe nerve too
like
After doing drugs 101 , having certain raw materials you can produce new drugs [something like those alchemy games of android but way cooler] whose effects you can control[ overall they will only be slightly better than current ones if properly done]
9)
This is a bit vulgar but
You can shoot videos/photos of couples in "compromising" positions and sell them as new items , this will get you money but may put you in jail.
it will also affect the happy of the couple[can't decide how]
You can also have extramarital affairs with other people.
They will give happy boost to the people involved.
However it will be made convenient for your spouse to discover, ( even some random clicks will give them this info as an event) and when they do , all the parties involved will lose happy.
10)Exotic places to explore , a hybrid of dump searching and halloween/xmas town , very risky though.
11) An actual health meter which affects your gym gains, energy regen and all stats and stuff
as long as the meter is above 50% it will have positive impacts
otherwise negative
Boosters such as alcohol, drugs , excess training and fighting etc reduce it
moderate training and fighting , boosters such as FHC and can of red cow, etc increase it.
12) A possibility of police intercepting fights and jailing you, as well as stalemates resulting in jail time more often than not.
13) Can pawn items in the pawn shop for money , works like a real life pawn shop
One hot day, my hamster didn't look so good at all. i thought for sure he had a heat stroke or something, and he was really hot. Frantic, I grabbed an ice cube and put it on his back. He cooled down, but the ice cube was stuck! Even more frantic and feeling stupid, I ran into the kitchen with him, filled a bowl with warm water, and dipped him in there. He seemed to be enjoying himself, and swam around for a little, and then relaxed. the phone rang and I answered it. It was my cousin who asked me what I was doing, and when i told her she shouted that i wasn't supposed to get a hamster wet! I hung up and quickly took him out. guess what? He leaped out of my hands and climbed back into the water! I kept him out, and dried him off with a towel, then plopped him back in his cage. he was dry in less than an our, and later escaped and I found him wandering around on the kitchen table, looking for something
