I think I'm going to miss the 1pm games, and therefore probably everything except Monday night, or maybe Sunday's night game. Can't TC lag at some other time other than 11am on Sunday? This is the worst lag I've seen on this site in probably 4 years!

I'm so pissed I missed the SF/NYJ game.... I would have put a lot of money on that one, easily. But the damn lag killed me.
Also, what made you SO confident in the Bengals? I know they're a better team than JAX on paper, but I would think you'd put the big bet on SF or something, rather than a shaky Bengals team going against a team with a good run game. Worked out very well for you though

It's always risky when betting on teams with long streaks going... seems like they tend to get targets put on their back. But Houston looks like they are maybe the best team in the NFL, and really should have made beat Baltimore and made it to the AFC Championship game and maybe even the Super Bowl if they didn't suffer so many crippling injuries last year. But they are playing the Jets next week, so they should win easily (especially without Holmes now it looks like too), but they may get a hugeee spread to cover... probably around -13.5 or more.

Funny you say that. Now typically, I know the response from the Gambling staff say results take 24 hours to come in, which is barely ever true. I've found that winning bets take around 12 hours or maybe more to come through, but losing bets seem to happen within a few hours after the game is over. Either way, the results for all NFL games I've ever bet on are in my events by the time I check online the following day. But my losing bet on the Giants still hasn't come through yet, which ended around 12am, which is the longest a losing bet has taken to come in for me by far. But I'll at least give them the full 24 hours before I report it or say anything/..... probably because I don't have the motivation because it's a lost bet for me, not a winning one

Well if the Bears cover, and it looks like they just might, leading 24-7 late in the 3rd, I'll at least break into some positive gains again for the Week. Still waiting on the huge week for me, I'm tired of only going up a little. If the damn Giants could beat someone other than the Patriots, I'd probably be up $75m easily by now.

Ehh in a pinch I would pick against Chicago if this was a game of any real importance. But seeing as they are playing a Dallas team that has it's own offensive questions on top of not having anywhere near as good of a defense, I think it was a fairly safe bet, and that is why I bet the most on this game than I have in any of the other previous bets so far this season that I've made.

I really like the Saints this week, but I wouldn't call the Chargers lowly. They are starting to gel. I am leaning on the other side of the Texans and Packers picks. The system I am using likes the Jets and Colts. Not sure I like them plays personally, If I bet them it will take a leap of faith.

In all honesty, the Texans SHOULD win this game 59-0, but I guess this is why you play the games... we'll see, but I think Houston should comfortably win by 21+

Well i guess the Texans didn't have the big game I thought. it looked as if it might go that way early, but for whatever reason Houston simply couldn't put a choke hold on the game, despite the Jets looking lost offensively nearly every single series. I guess it's one of those "50 years worth of Monday Night games when the home team is the underdog by X amount of points going against a conference rival... " sort of stats that suggested the Texans wouldn't blow them out (the NFL's version of Sabermetrics), because everything else about these two teams pointed to a totally different outcome.

Yeah, the SF game looks tempting, and I'm still up in the air if I want to pick it or not. Spread isn't too big, but the Giants do seem to have a habit of playing well when the most is on the line, and we all know how well they seem to play on the road.... It's a revenge game for the 459ers though, a rematch of the NFC Champ. game... so who knows. It seems risky, so I might stay away from it.
